Did you know that only 20% of Psychology graduates go on to work in psychologist-specific roles? There is a huge range of alternative careers where you can put the skills developed through your Psychology degree to good use.

These include roles that support people directly, such as teaching, social work, speech and language therapy, and a wide range of other healthcare professions.

Others prefer to influence and shape how support services are designed and delivered, often working within local authorities, central government, or the charity sector.

Forensic pathways offer opportunities across the criminal justice system, including roles within the police, probation services, and other related organisations.
