Taking Care of your Wellbeing During Assessments

Camila Torres Rise Communications and Student Engagement

We know assessment weeks can be stressful, but it’s important to remember to look after our wellbeing and mental health. That’s why Manchester Met has put together a variety of activities for you to have fun and loosen up during these weeks.

On Friday 12th of May, come and meet the wonderful Therapy Animals! From mice to chinchillas and maybe even Tallulah, the therapy pig! Through animal therapy, people can gain confidence, build trust, and improve self-esteem and happiness. Perfect to boost your mood during assessments!

Want to let your creative side run free? Then join us for a quick Art Wellbeing Pop Up: Assess your mind to create a 10-minute ‘time out’ card using the wonderful technique of collaging.

No need to book! You’ll stumble upon many more fun activities all across our campus, so just keep your eyes open and let yourself have some time to unwind.

Check all Zone Out activities for next week.

And! If you want something to look forward to after you’re done, check out our Summer Offer.
