Art Wellbeing Pop Up: Assess your mind

17th May 10:00 to 14:00
POP UP (or down!) to 'ASSESS YOUR MIND' and contribute to a collaborative art piece. Don't Burst My Bubble will be on hand to create a 'time out' illustration with you, that'll feature as a collaborative student 'ASSESS your MIND' art piece.

Join us at this art wellbeing pop-up, grab a coffee, magazine and glue stick to create your ‘favourite thing’ using the wonderful technique of collaging.

You’ll create your 10 minute ‘time out’ card while looking through magazines, finding words that resonate and ‘pop out’ at you. Cutting and sticking textures, patterns, shapes and images into something that’s different, bold, mindful and beautiful.

What will your magical image be? A flying pink elephant, a giant mushroom that’s filled with butterflies and stars or an alien that’s popped down to say a quick ‘eh up – how are you?!’

Every student and member of staff will be encouraged to create something that represents you and your feelings during assessment week.

These will feature in a collaborative art piece that Don’t Burst My Bubble will collate and bring together in a different, mindful, bold and beautiful art piece that’ll be displayed and celebrated to promote a positive mental attitude to assessment week.

POP DOWN (your thoughts, feelings and emotions) and ‘POP UP’ (onto a collaborative art piece) your different, bold, mindful and beautiful heART created in that ‘time out’ moment.
