GM reflect e-learning

GM reflect e-learning

Watch the welcome video below where Miriam Loxham, Senior Principal, Early Years and Family Help at GMCA outlines Greater Manchester’s vision for ensuring all children get the best start in life and start school ready to learn and thrive. This overview highlights how the GM REFLECT eLearning modules can help strengthen practice across the multi-agency Early Years workforce, supporting practitioners in the important work they do with children and families in the early years.

GMCA and Manchester Met University share a commitment to supporting children in the early years, their families and deeply value all the professionals working in this area. We are pleased to offer these courses as a collaboration between GMCA and Manchester Met University. We hope that they will allow you to draw on your experience and to extend your knowledge.

The modules have been developed alongside the GM REFLECT framework which is Greater Manchester’s early years workforce competency framework. The current modules reflect the GM school readiness priorities and focus on key aspects of child development, including the importance of the first 1001 days and of effectively engaging with families.

The GMCA website and the GM REFLECT framework can be accessed here: GM Reflect Framework – Greater Manchester Combined Authority

These courses are designed to be approached at your own pace, inviting you to draw on your previous experiences and to develop your knowledge. On completion of each course, you will be awarded a badge.
