Future Me Week in the Faculty of Science and Engineering
Every year Manchester Met students get to enjoy five days of events, workshops, insights and talks from inspiring speakers. There are also industry panel sessions where graduate employers highlight transferable skills across a range of career paths.
Future me week is the perfect opportunity to put your Future me plan into action. It helps you plan your short and long-term goals, expand your skillset, and get inspired about your future.
Join us on Monday 20 – Friday 24 January 2025 for Future me week.
In the Faculty of Science and Engineering we are offering you the exciting opportunities below. To attend please follow the relevant link and book on to the event.
The main event on offer in Science and Engineering in Future Me Week this year is the Innovation Jam taking place on Thursday and Friday on campus.
The Innovation Jam is open to all students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, including all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
What is an Innovation Jam?
An Innovation Jam is a collaborative event where a group of people develop ideas to address a challenge. In the Science and Engineering Innovation Jam, you’ll be able to meet and work with students from a range of disciplines and think about how your skills can come together to make something awesome. Maybe that’s a website, maybe that’s an app, maybe it’s something different altogether? You can find out all you need to know on the Innovation Jam event page here.
