The aim of this self-study pack is for you to understand the latest guidance, research and evidence into the benefits of outdoor play and learning, including statutory and non-statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidance.
You will consider a range of resources and activities that enable effective outdoor learning, and consider holistically how they might build on the EYFS characteristics of effective learning and support children’s learning and development.
You will also analyse the role of the adult, so that you can reflect on and further develop your current provision.
