In this self study pack, real researchers from Man Met will take you through some of the basic ideas you’ll need to be familiar with to take part in or run your own research project. From theoretical background to practical application and communication, we’ll take you through the full research journey. Importantly, we’ll make this a reflective process by using our own research projects as examples, and encourage you to do the same. No two research projects are identical, so we hope to give you some tools that you can apply to your own context.

If you are taking part in a Rise research internship, this self study pack will set you up to succeed before you begin. Or if you’re just interested in research more generally, it will give you a good place to start with your thinking.
