Debdale Digger are a volunteer group of all ages, The community has taken on a project, it does exactly what it says on the tin and bring the young and old together to encourage their wellbeing, fitness and makes new friends,
Debdale Diggers
We are a group of local people interested in looking after the ROSE-BEDS in Debdale Park. Would you like to adopted a ROSE-BED. We have 8 volunteers looking after 18 ROSE-BEDS. It is light work and only needs attending once a month. All equipment is provided. This is an activity which is good for your wellbeing, light exercise and an excellent way to make new friendships.
We meet every Wednesday at 1.30 am all equipment provided you just need suitable foot wear. But you can attend at your leisure evenings and weekends. We are looking for families to adopt a plot. this is a small rose bed which would need weeding and manicuring which will bring joy and exercise out in the fresh air to everyone involved, in Debdale Beautiful Park. You will be meet and guided by our facilitator.
