Get Certified in Microsoft and Adobe

Get excited, Future Me Week is coming! An exciting set of opportunities and activities to enhance or gain new abilities, boost your employability, and even gain new certifications.

Did you know you could gain Microsoft and Adobe certifications for free? These fully funded opportunities (worth up to £600) will allow you to gain external certification from Microsoft and/or Adobe and will evidence your proficiency on the applications of your choosing.

Our Microsoft Certification Scheme allows you to get certifications in Word, Excel and/or Power Point.  You can gain a certification in a single application or become a Microsoft Office Specialist by evidencing your competency in the three applications. The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification is one of the top 10 skills demanded by employers worldwide and will help you differentiate yourself in a competitive job market

If you are more interested in software for video, design, photography and web, then our Adobe Certification Scheme is for you. Its packages are widely used throughout the creative industries, but they also support productivity and communication in a whole range of sectors. You will be able to obtain up to three certifications across five of Adobe’s major applications:

• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• InDesign
• After Effects
• Premiere Pro

Obtaining external certifications add great value to your CV, not only by showing your IT skillset, but they also demonstrate transferrable skills desirable by employers, such as initiative and ongoing self- development.

These opportunities will be offered as part of Future Me Week, but don’t worry if you don’t manage to finish all the training you would have liked to do during the week. We’ll keep providing new opportunities for you to get certified across the rest of the year.
