The Zebra Tribe Comic Festival part of the Ubuntu Festival of Events for Black History Month. Showcasing black graphic novel and comic creators, illustrators, writers and allies for Black History Month.
This event is part of Black History Month - the celebration of the continued achievements and contributions of Black people in the UK and around the world during. As outlined on the official Black History Month website, it is also a time for continued action to tackle racism, reclaim Black history, and to ensure Black history is represented and celebrated all year round.

The Zebra Tribe Comic Festival part of the Ubuntu Festival of Events for Black History Month.

Showcasing black graphic novel and comic creators, illustrators, writers and allies for Black History Month.

Corey Brotherson will be joining us hot off the heels of yet another San Diego Comic Con. He’ll join us on stage to share his story of his journey and spill the beans of up and coming projects connected to Black History.

Yomi Ayeni and his historic steam punk style graphic novels.

Allies in the comic book and graphic novel industry Marc Jackson, Leah Moore and John Reppion will be joining the festival. Marc will talk 50 years of Hip Hop and his involvement via his comic art.

Host is award winning Black publisher Carol Ann Whitehead FRSA CMgr CCMI and co-founder of The Zebra Partnership publishers of Ella Upgraded, MidWinter and much more. Founder of Zebra Tribe Comic Festival and the Ubuntu Festival of Events.

Attendees of all backgrounds are welcome. FREE entry but ticked to manage capacity.
