Writing School Student Showcase

Our showcases aim to introduce students and staff of the School to one another through informal open mic readings and performances of their own creative writing, to help build a community of writers and support networking across the School.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and takes steps towards an exciting Future You.

In A Nutshell...

  • Hear... from writers from across our Writing School - from first year undergraduate students to PhD students and published alumni.
  • Network... across staff and students, and be a part of a community of writers.
  • Be inspired... by a wide range of performances of original creative writing pieces.
  • Take part... in an informal open mic event, and showcase your own creative work.
