Volunteer with MMU Sport: Basketball Team Manager (MMU Sport Basketball)

Develop your skills as a sport club team manager working within our performance sport of basketball.

The sports clubs programme at MMU provides students with the opportunity to represent the university in a range of different sports in the BUCS (British University and Colleges Sport) competitions.

This voluntary team manager role will develop your skills within a university sport club, working with internal and external stakeholders across the city. You will have the opportunity to observe and assist our qualified lead coaching team and the wider performance sport staff.

We are looking for students who exhibit our core student workforce behaviours;

Adaptable, approachable, communicative, confident, creative, fun, inclusive, knowledgeable, patient, prepared and supportive.

In addition, students with the following skills and experience would be desirable;

·        Knowledge and experience within sports clubs either playing or coaching.

·        Strong organisational and communication skills.

·        A passion for helping people and a willingness to learn and improve.
