Guest speaker: Martin Kratz
Martin Kratz is Programme Manager at Manchester Poetry Library. His reviews and translations from the German have appeared in various journals and in anthologies. He is the co-editor of Mount London: Ascents in the Vertical City (Penned in the Margins, 2014). A pamphlet, A Skeleton’s Progress (Poetry Salzburg) was published in 2018. He has new work in No Net Ensnares Me (Calder Valley Press, 2024), an anthology of prose poetry inspired by the Brontës and the wild.

SPACE: Start Up Café is a soft-landing space for MMU students curious about what it means to be self-employed. It offers a starting point in a creative environment where creativity and entrepreneurship thrive, helping students turn their ideas into reality.
