Science and Engineering Self Study: Autodesk Certification Scheme

21st March to 17th April
A fully funded opportunity (worth up to £550) to gain external certification from Autodesk which evidences your competency with their range of software. Support your IT skills in your studies, and evidence your capabilities and self-development to future employers.

This self-study has been curated for Sci&Eng students. You can complete it at any time at your own pace. Access the self-study pack and certification scheme here. Follow this link and complete the self-study pack to gain your Rise points.

Autodesk Certified User (ACU) certifications are industry-recognized credentials that can help designers, engineers, and makers succeed at any stage of their career. As more and more industries experience a skills gap as they hire new talent, Autodesk certifications provide a reliable validation of skills and knowledge. Obtaining one of these qualifications typically costs up to £550: AutoCAD training | 3-day accredited beginner’s course £395 (armada.co.uk). However, through Rise, Manchester Met students can obtain up to three certifications completely free!
