The Longitudinal Study of Child and Family Social Workers was a 5-year Department of Education commissioned project to explore the experiences of social workers in child and family practice. This even will explore the findings of the interview phase of the fourth year, which focused on how practitioner’s ethnicity, ‘race’ or culture influenced their experience of being a social worker. The original report is 253 pages so this will be a great introduction to a very interesting topic.
