PrintCity: 3D Printing and sentimental value
This session invites you to bring in two objects that that you use every day; an object that has sentimental value to you and a random object.
We will have a relaxed round table discussion that focus on what makes an object have sentimental value. We will also consider how plastic and 3D printing is used to create valuable objects.
At PrintCity, artwork is created by Manchester based artists which we will look at and discuss in relation to value, and creative contexts. If you are interested in why practitioners use 3D Printing, come along to the session, and explore value within additive manufacturing.
