A day discovering the various techniques used to fuse plastic bags together to create a beautiful sheet of material that can then be used to design and create various products. Part 1 of 2.
In this session we will demonstrate our ironing techniques, a way to reuse and make plastic bags into something new. You will be introduced into the dos and don’ts with practical tips and tricks.
We will showcase various products that can be made from this material, which will show you ways you can use the material and get a better idea of the material qualities to design your stuff.
We will showcase the various artists techniques we have learned along our journey; different patterns, styles and techniques. All of which you can use!
