Orchard workshop with Hulme Community Garden Centre

Join us for the spring orchard workshop to help take care take of our lovely fruit trees. Led by our local partner Hulme Community Garden Centre, you will be volunteering alongside other students and staff to learn all about fruit tree care and maintenance.

Join us for the spring orchard workshop to help take care take of our lovely fruit trees. 

Led by our local partner Hulme Community Garden Centre, you will be volunteering alongside other students and staff to learn all about fruit tree care and maintenance. 

In this session, we’ll be focussing on labelling the trees, finishing pruning activities, staking some of the trees, and undertaking general health checks of the trees.

The workshop will take place in all weather conditions. Please make sure you wear weather appropriate clothing, including suitable footwear (not open footwear allowed).

Meet our student sustainability ambassadors by the entrance to the Brooks building by 1.30pm.
