NHS BT tour 24 APRIL 2024 9.30-12PM
NHSBT tours give you an overview of blood donation processing, how the labs work and the role of the staff, qualified biomedical scientists and support workers, many of which are our students.
Over the coming weeks we are offering visits to NHS Blood and Transport (NHS-BT) to experience the blood processing laboratory, based in Plymouth Grove. There are also several current students and graduates that work there and see the labs will help with interviews for roles there. Tours will last around 2 hours and we will walk down from John Dalton Building (around a 20-minute walk). There are multiple sessions over the coming weeks, all on Wednesday morning, please select the session you can attend.
Places are limited to 9 students per session. You will be advised where to meet when you have been confirmed onto a session.
