myGwork Panel: Black History Month: Celebrating Black Voices

25th October 16:00 to 17:00
Black History Month in the UK is marked in October when we take the time to educate ourselves about Black history, and how this shapes the lives of Black people today.
This event is part of Black History Month - the celebration of the continued achievements and contributions of Black people in the UK and around the world during. As outlined on the official Black History Month website, it is also a time for continued action to tackle racism, reclaim Black history, and to ensure Black history is represented and celebrated all year round.

Black History Month in the UK is marked in October when we take the time to educate ourselves about Black history, and how this shapes the lives of Black people today. Join us for this panel, where we’ll be discussing the importance of Black History Month, hearing about how discrimination still affects the Black community – and how we as allies can work to prevent this – and stories from Black history that teach us more about the societies we live in.
