Photography on Wellbeing Project

5th June to 3rd July
Be guided by a mindful a photography practitioner to use creative tools to better your wellbeing.

We lead a fast-paced life, stomping from place to place, without ever really slowing down to notice what is subtley going on around us. These various workshops will focus on photographic methods that will encompass the NHS’s

Five ways to wellbeing:

Connect, with others and your surroundings

Be active,

Take notice,

Learn new skills

Give, support to others

Four separate workshops will guide you through processes such as a mindful photowalk (any digital photography device will do), cyanotype printing, mixed media collage.

You will have a three-hour workshop a week with tasks to take home and develop in your own time. We will have time to discuss, reflect and show our creations each week.

Finally, we will discuss possible finished outputs, such as a ‘zine or pop-up exhibition, to be finalised once everyone is back the following September.
