Ocean Generation is an ocean-focused NGO which is on a mission to empower an inclusive global movement to tackle Ocean threats through science and storytelling. No fearmongering, no big data, no over-simplifications. We’re changing the narrative.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Ocean Generation is an ocean-focused NGO which is on a mission to empower an inclusive global movement to tackle Ocean threats through science and storytelling.

Our Wavemakers programme is for 16–25-year-olds and aims to empower them to make a difference to our Ocean using their own skills and values. By positively engaging young people, we aim to foster a sense of agency, leading to tangible behavioural changes and a desire for collective action.

As part of MMU’s “Future Me” week, we will deliver the full suite of Wavemaker workshops, hosted by Manchester Fashion Institute.
