Man Met Staff Data Hackathon

13th September 13:00 to 17:00
An afternoon sandpit event, open to all Manchester Met staff with an interest in data, with a challenge to generate new insights from institutional data

Manchester Met is full of talented people capable of doing interesting things with data – and we’d like to invite you to flex your analytic/creative muscles!

As part of our ongoing strategy to open up spaces for staff across faculty and professional services to influence innovation at Manchester Met, we’re inviting up to 20 members of staff to participate in a data hackathon.

Your challenge, through the afternoon, will be to take a diverse set of institutional data, and find ways of generating new meaning and insight from them – culminating with a a discussion session with Andy Dainty, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education).

As spaces on this activity are limited, we’re asking for one paragraph expressions of interest outlining how you’d like to contribute your expertise.
