Learn how to join our International case competitions
Manchester Met regularly enters a series of case competitions and we are looking out for new people to join our pool of trained and enthusiastic students who will be our representatives in these events. We welcome interest from all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Business and Law. Typically, in a case competition, students work together to solve a real problem for a real client. For example:
- Explore how Carlsberg can disrupt traditional on-trade channels, such as bars, restaurants, and cafes in order to digitally engage with consumers and ensure further revenue growth in the European region.
- How can IKEA utilise both new and existing circular initiatives in their retail operations to make sustainable choices easier and more convenient for customers?
- How can Pandora reach more Millennials and Gen Z consumers?
Every competition is different, but sometimes there are cash prizes, some competitions are online only, and some competitions involve travel overseas. Selected students will receive training (sometimes overseas) and have the opportunity to earn RISE points (some of our students have more than 1000 points) and gain significant experience to help them stand out in the marketplace and improve their employability.
