Introduction to Biological Recording on the Canal
Green Recovery Challenge Fund has made this project possible in Manchester to create and enhance green spaces. Join us in learning just how rich in wildlife our canals can be, even in winter!
An introduction to what biological recording is, how to do it, and how to use field guides will be given, followed by a walk along the canal to see what we can record.
No previous knowledge required, identification guides will be provided on the day. Please dress warmly and bring food and water as the weather is unpredictable.
If possible please download the app iRecord which is available on both Android and iPhone.
Ending time is approximate.
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this activity.
