How to build career momentum - Women in Tech IRL
Technology needs women; their fresh thinking, diverse perspectives, and passions. While it might seem intimidating from where you are sitting – the technology industry offers women incredible flexibility, progression and boundless opportunities to put your creativity to work. You just have to know how to grab the opportunity with both hands.
In this workshop with two senior Sparta Global Talent coordinators, you’ll learn how to get confident and get started in a technology career, and how to maintain career momentum by improving your employability – giving advice you can use and practical tasks to complete that will showcase how best to present yourself to employers.
- CV skills | CV dos and donts to ensure your strengths and experience are always at the forefront.
- Interview prep | We interview hundreds of candidates every year, get insight into the type of questions you could be asked and how best to answer through the STAR method.
- Applications + psychometric or tech tests | In an effort to make hiring more inclusive, lots of employers have moved away from traditonal applications and assessments. We’ll talk you through psychometric tests, technical test and what you might be able to expect to prep you for success!
- Plenty of stories to tell! | We’ll dip into the stories from some of our 3000 successful Spartans and showcase their experiences to give you a real-time view of being a woman in tech.
