Grown Your Own Mushrooms Workshop with FungALL

21st February 14:00 to 16:00
Come along to this workshop to learn how to cultivate your own culinary mushrooms at home. It will also cover food sustainability, reducing food waste and how we can transform local waste streams into edible mushrooms! All participants will leave with a bucket full of mushroom substrate, ready and waiting to produce KILOS of mushrooms for dinner!

Taking a more sustainable approach to food is one of the easiest and most impactful choices you can make in your everyday life!

This workshop gives you the means to do this by teaching you the basics of mushroom cultivation and provides you with all the resources to do so. This event will provide valuable insights into sustainable practices and the role of fungi in a more eco-friendly future. The growth of an organism like fungi is a fun practice, a piece of holistic knowledge that can help reconnect a person with the planet.

This event is in the Student Union Building in Meeting Room 6 and 7
