Getting Started with your Reflection
These workshops will be an opportunity to inspire your thinking during Unit X, and for those who attend in person, you can claim RISE points as additional credits! All talks will be recorded and available afterward on our Unit X webpage.
This first workshop aims at getting you to consider the role and purpose of reflection in your practice. Using both models and your creativity, you will also identify the best ways for you to investigate and document the creative process, and use this as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of your own practice.
The workshops will be delivered by myself (Aurélie) and Chad McDonald, from the Academic and Study Skills Team. In the meantime, have a listen to the podcast ‘A Critical Thought’. With a colleague, Louise Livesey, we have a short, but hopefully insightful, conversation on reflection at university and we hope the thoughts and tips we share in this episode will be useful to you too.
We also have a wealth of resources (including on screencasts on reflection) on our Moodle page.
