Get to know the Rise Assessment for Science and Engineering Students

28th February 11:00 to 12:00
Do you know how to turn your Rise points into credit towards your degree? Did you know the Rise assessment is a fun and creative way to tell your story and gain skills in self-reflective writing? Please note that Engineering and Natural Sciences students cannot convert Rise points into degree credit.
Welcome to Faculty of Science and Engineering Enrichment! Bespoke activities that enrich your student experience and support your career readiness. Opportunities that make you stand out from the crowd.

This one hour session provides you with an opportunity to learn more about the Rise assessment process which is open across the academic year but which closes at the end of April. Submission of the Rise assessment will allow you to gain degree credit for your activities (depending on course eligibility).

This workshop will outline how you can reflect on your Rise journey and tell your story.

Further information is available on our Assessment Hub page.

Taking part in the Rise assessment process will also aid you in developing skills in self-reflection. Self-reflection is a vital skill to identify your own value and communicate this to potential employers.
