Volunteern with MMU Sport: Football Analyst

29th September to 28th March
Develop your skills as a future performance analyst by supporting our lead football coaches in the delivery of high quality coaching sessions and match preparation within our Men's and/or Women's Football club programme.

The sports clubs programme at MMU provides students with the opportunity to represent the university in a range of different sports in the BUCS (British University and Colleges Sport) competitions. 

This voluntary performance analyst role will develop your knowledge of football, individual player development, team development, systems of play and coaching practice.

We are looking for students who exhibit our core student workforce behaviours;

Adaptable, approachable, communicative, confident, creative, fun, inclusive, knowledgeable, patient, prepared and supportive.

In addition, students with the following skills and experience would be desirable;

·      Foundation sport coaching knowledge / studying a sports coaching related degree programme.

·      Coaching qualification or desire to work towards.

·      Ambition to pursue a career in sports coaching.

·      Coaching experience.

·      Knowledge and experience of coaching.

·      Strong organisational and communication skills.

·      A passion for helping people and a willingness to learn and improve.
