Engineering Workshop Training - Quasi-static uniaxial test devices
Engineering training workshops are your chance to come along and get training and experience on a variety of machines and devices. These workshops are open to students from any subject or level and are a great way to find out how the engineering workshop facilities may be able to help you with your own studies or activities.
You will be taught to use the uniaxial test device in EW0.01. This device can do tensile, compression, and bend testing, and is widely used for material testing. You will be taught how to operate the device, how to use the device software. Your competence will be assessed by your ability to review and update device standard operating procedures.
Details will be share on the DoE Moodle Page – Course: Department Of Engineering Students (mmu.ac.uk), for you to refer back to after the workshop – or shared via onedrive after the workshop, for those without access to moodle to download and store.
