Matchday Live is designed to immerse students in the thrilling world of live sports broadcasting by providing them with a comprehensive and practical understanding of various roles and responsibilities involved in the process. Participants will have the opportunity to work on actual live sports events, engaging in tasks such as delivering play-by-play commentary, operating cameras, managing the vision mixing process, promoting the event through marketing and social media channels, and more. Students will work closely with experienced mentors and industry professionals, who will offer guidance and support throughout the project, ensuring that they acquire essential skills and knowledge relevant to the sports broadcasting industry. As students progress through the Matchday Live project, they will have the chance to collaborate with peers and professionals in the field, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork essential for a successful live sports broadcast.
