The Visual and The Verbal - Workshop...zine-making...typography...poetry

This session is for any Manchester Met student wishing to work with the Poetry Library team. The library runs projects and often host school visits or events for community organisations. This session will prepare you to be involved in delivering our programme, should you wish to apply.

Our collections are there to engage and inspire. This creative session is an opportunity to learn how to use the Poetry Library as a space for making, using our collections and projects as inspiration.

This is the second of three sessions designed to prepare students, from any discipline, who might want to work on Poetry Library projects. You can attend this session on its own or as one of the three!

School of art graduate, Kate Lawrence, will lead a relaxed session that explores creative activities and techniques typography and zine-making.

Come along and have fun, You will leave with a deeper understanding of what the library has to offer and buzzing with ideas that you can take into your own work and projects.
