Making and testing auxetic materials, such as foams and 3D prints, in the laboratory. Also includes CAD and computer modelling.

Research Host: Thomas Allen

The student will work on a project to that will involve testing and making auxetic materials for sports applications.

The ideal student would have an interest in engineering, materials and sport. They would be capable of making prototypes, testing them and analysing the data.
