Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Young Learners – Guest Speaker

Polly Gittins is an experienced educator with a strong background in English language teaching. She has worked with diverse groups of learners across a range of ages and cultural contexts.
This activity is offered as part of Go Global - an exciting set of activities, allowing students to engage in an international experience. Are you having problems signing up to this event? Email GGW6@mmu.ac.uk and we will try to fix the issue for you.

Specialising in young learners, she brings creativity and imagination into every lesson, using her theatre background to design engaging, dynamic, and learner-centred experiences. Polly is currently based in Parma, Italy working as an EFL teacher in preschools and elementary schools. This session is relevant to anyone considering teaching young learners in the future, in order to gain real life insights into the challenges and rewards of this career.
