World Bookshelf

2nd March to 6th March
To celebrate Go Global Week, we’ve partnered with Blackwell’s Manchester to create the World Bookshelf – a curated book display celebrating stories from around the world. Featuring translated fiction and non-fiction selected by students on the MA Publishing.
This activity is offered as part of Go Global - an exciting set of activities, allowing students to engage in an international experience. Are you having problems signing up to this event? Email GGW6@mmu.ac.uk and we will try to fix the issue for you.

The display offers a snapshot of contemporary international writing available in English today. Come and browse, discover something new… and take a book home with you!

We’d also love to hear your recommendations. Visit the World Bookshelf at Blackwell’s Manchester between 2–6 March, scan the QR code to earn RISE points, and add your own suggestions – which international writers have excited, challenged or inspired you?
