Workshop - Information session: The Cairo Connection: Global Business Challenge with Vodafone Egypt

Take your learning beyond the classroom. Join an international consultancy team, collaborate with peers in Italy and Egypt, and compete to solve a live business case for Vodafone Egypt—culminating in an intensive, high-profile trip to Cairo this June.

*Open to current Level 5 students at SES and MIBT.

This session is to introduce you to the two distinct stages:

Stage 1: The Global Classroom

What: A Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project.

The Task: Conduct foundational research on Vodafone Egypt.

The Team: You will work in mixed international teams alongside students from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and Unimore (Italy), building your cross-cultural communication and digital collaboration skills.

Stage 2: The Cairo Consultancy Trip (First week of June) Selected students (5 from SES and 5 from MIBT) will fly to Cairo for a week-long intensive finale.

Live Case Study: You will be split into two MMU teams (combining SES and MIBT expertise) to solve a live business challenge for Vodafone Egypt.

Corporate Exposure: Visit Vodafone’s HQ and pitch your ideas directly to their Senior Management team.

Academic & Cultural Immersion: Experience guest lectures at the prestigious AUC campus, navigate the local markets, and visit the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza.
