Future Now – Panel 2: FURTHER STUDY

16th February 16:00 to 18:30
Learn about possible postgraduate study options, and the careers and opportunities they can lead to, including MAs in Art and Curating, PGCEs, and Art Therapy.

The Future Now series of events run through February and March 2026. They provide an opportunity for current students to look toward possible choices, strategies, and opportunities they might consider as they progress on from their current studies.

For this second panel event, a range of possible post-graduate study options, and the careers and opportunities they can lead to, will be presented. Course leaders will present the MA Fine Art and MA Contemporary Curating offered at MMU, as well as other possible paths of progression through Design MAs, or further study options in SODA (the School of Digital Arts). Beyond these, the PGCE and a career in teaching will be presented, as will Art Therapy and routes into this career. Following panellists’ presentations, there will be time for questions and discussion.

Future Now events continue with:

Panel 3: ALTERNATIVE CREATIVE CAREERS – 23rd February

Panel 4: GALLERY AND MUSEUM CONNECTIONS – 16th March
