Behind The Scenes Tour At Media City, Manchester

4th February to 6th February
This trip is a behind the scenes look at production at Media City Studios in Manchester hosted by The Reporter's Academy

Details:

Coaches will leave MMU at 10am and return at 1pm for a behind the scenes look at production at Media City in Salford. This is the home of various production facilities including The BBC and ITV. This is a half-day event to look around, ask questions and to glean more insight into your subject discipline – digital production looking at what they do, and how they do it.

Programmes that can apply for this trip are:

  • Digital Media & Communications
  • Film and Media Studies

Spaces are limited to 30 students per session, sessions will run on a morning and afternoon basis on the following dates:

  1. Film and Media Studies Students: Wednesday 4th February 10am -1pm or 2pm -5pm
  2. Digital Media & Communications Students: Friday 6th February 10am – 1pm or 2pm -5pm

As ever, RISE points are available for this event – signing up for this event is a commitment to attending. Please don’t sign up if you’re unsure about attending – there are limited places and we want to give as many people as possible to attend.
