Carbon Literacy Training for the Department of Health Professions

Enrol in this one day Carbon Literacy Training. You'll develop valuable skills in environmental stewardship and sustainability. Gain Rise Points, calculate your Carbon Footprint, and gain a recognised Carbon Literacy Certification.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Carbon Literacy training provides a comprehensive overview of climate change including:

  • the science behind it.
  • its drivers and impacts.
  • an understanding of the actions required by individuals, communities, and organisations to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.

We aim to help participants empower themselves to plan and act on climate issues in their personal and professional lives.

If you book onto this training, you will be sent a pre-course survey to evaluate your pre-session understanding.

After the training, you can apply for a carbon literacy certificate to demonstrate your new status.
