Picking Your Path and Acing Your Interviews | Hosted by Civil Service Fast Stream

22nd January 13:00 to 14:00
Join this session with the Civil Service Fast Stream to learn about our 17 (!) different career paths for graduates and how to prepare for interviews. Learn how to effectively demonstrate your skills and discover how this translates when applying for graduate roles.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Join the Civil Service Fast Stream’s ‘STARR Power’ session and learn about our 17 different career paths for graduates and how to prepare for interviews. Hear directly from current Fast Streamers about starting (or switching to) careers in project delivery, economics, digital, or government policy, with or without previous experience. As well as learning to effectively demonstrate your skills and wider experience in verbal assessments, you will discover how this translates when applying for graduate roles.

What to expect:

  • An employer talk: from recent graduates who are now working in the Civil Service.
  • Opportunity to ask questions: attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A.
  • Attendee information: This session is open to all students of all degree disciplines.

This session is exclusive to Future Me Week! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to learn from those who have been in your shoes. You’ll leave feeling inspired and equipped to apply for placement and graduate opportunities.
