The New Ad Rules: A Workshop on Digital Marketing in a Changing World
Join us for an interactive workshop exploring the latest HFSS (High Fat, Salt, and Sugar) regulations and their impact on digital marketing. In this session, we’ll unpack what HFSS is, why it matters, and how it’s reshaping the way brands communicate online. This is your opportunity to get a feel for what it’s like to work in contemporary digital marketing as is open to all MMU students.
You will work collaboratively in groups to design a HFSS-compliant digital marketing campaign, applying real-world parameters and creative problem-solving under current regulations. Your team will then present your campaign to a judging panel featuring Emily Conyard, Sarah Brentnall, Beth Rogers from the IAB and a guest from a leading digital marketing agency – with a winning team to be selected!
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in contemporary digital marketing, develop your teamwork and presentation skills, and tackle one of the most dynamic and evolving areas in the industry.
Come ready to think critically, collaborate creatively, and push the boundaries of compliant digital innovation.
All MMU students are able to undertake the IAB certification offered on RISE. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain an industry recognised accreditation for your CV.
