Interested in volunteering in the arts or getting more involved in Salford’s creative community?

Join us for a relaxed afternoon connecting with local arts and cultural organisations, discovering upcoming opportunities and finding out how you can get involved in projects across the city.

With the centenary year approaching, and lots of activity happening, this is a great opportunity to meet friendly teams from organisations working outdoor arts, festivals, galleries, heritage, community arts and more – all looking for volunteers to support exciting projects in the year ahead.

What to expect:

  • Meet organisations and learn about different volunteering roles (such as Walk the Plank, From The Other, Quays Culture, Salford Loaves & Fishes, Salford CVS, Salford Community Leisure)
  • Arts-based activities and discussions to get creative and connect with others
  • Chance to meet others in the arts community
  • Free refreshments

Everyone is welcome – whether you’ve volunteered before or are completely new to it. Come along, chat to local creatives and find out how you can make a difference in Salford’s cultural scene!

Free to attend, but booking is essential. 

We’d love to reach anyone who’s curious about volunteering, whether they’re already active or completely new to the arts and culture scene.
