The Good Clothes Show arrives in Manchester as a bold, stylish celebration of better brands and conscious living. Taking place at Manchester Central on 8–9 November 2025, the event showcases ethically produced, vintage, preloved, and artisanal fashion alongside inspiring talks, workshops, and runway moments.
This opportunity will be in collaboration with Manchester Fashion Movement, who will be curating the fashion show and leading the styling direction for the event.
As a Styling Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the fashion show element of the event. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting lead stylists in preparing and coordinating looks for the runway.
 - Steaming garments and ensuring they are presentation-ready.
 - Tagging outfits with model details and managing backstage logistics.
 - Dressing models and helping with quick changes during the show.
 - Retrieving and repacking garments post-show to return to brands.
 - Supporting the overall production flow and maintaining a professional backstage environment.
 
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in fashion show production, styling, and event coordination. You’ll be working alongside industry professionals and fellow students, contributing to a high-profile event that celebrates sustainability, creativity, and community in fashion.

Over one or two days, you will support stylists with preparing looks, steaming garments, tagging outfits with model details, dressing models, retrieving garments, and ensuring items are packed and returned to brands. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in fashion show production and styling.

Hours for the Project/Internship
- Run-through: Friday 7th November (times TBC) at Manchester Central
 - Event Days: Saturday and Sunday (8–9 November), 9am–6pm
 - You may participate on either Saturday or Sunday if not available for both.
