Fashion Live! Team
Fashion Live! is a student-led, co-curricular initiative at Manchester Fashion Institute that brings high-profile fashion professionals into our learning spaces. Through a limited series of industry engagement events across the academic year, students will gain insights into career pathways, critical debates in fashion, and build meaningful professional networks.
We are recruiting for three student roles to help deliver this project:
- Events Lead – You’ll lead on planning and logistics, liaising with speakers, booking resources, hosting events and ensuring smooth delivery of each event.
- Communications Lead – You’ll develop and implement a marketing and social media strategy to promote the events and build the MFI Live! brand.
- Content Creator – You’ll film, edit, and produce media content from the events, including teaser reels, full talks, and behind-the-scenes footage.
All roles will involve collaboration, creativity, and leadership. You’ll work closely with academic staff and industry guests, and your contributions will be showcased across MMU platforms. The project is accredited through RISE.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event production, media creation, and professional communication—while making a real impact on student engagement and employability at MMU.
