Peer Cinema Series Presents: The Thing - 1st October - 4.30pm-7pm G.12 SODA Building

This event comprises a screening of a selection of films that will be interesting to explore through an academic lens. Each film in the series includes an introduction by a member of Manchester Met staff from the Psychology and Humanities/ Film Studies courses.

The first screening in our Peer Cinema Series will be John Carpenter’s psychological horror film, Thing (IMDB: The Thing (1982) – IMDb)

The event will be introduced by Psychology Senior Lecturer, Ken Drinkwater. The event will end no later than 7pm.

Post-film discussion amongst staff and students will be encouraged to help to digest the themes of the film!
