Discovery Centre – 10:00am to 12:15pm

At 10:00am, we will arrive at the Discovery Centre for a bespoke session led by Adam, one of the curators and experts. His talk will guide us through an exciting selection of cultural and fashion artefacts, focusing on world cultures. Topics will include an introduction to African masks and sculpture, textiles from across the globe, and the creative ways people have used natural materials such as plants and animals in sustainable practices. There will also be a chance to explore the museum’s fashion and textiles exhibits in more detail, making this a unique and engaging learning experience.

Lunch and Free Time – 12:15pm to 2:30pm

Following the morning session, there will be free time for lunch. You may wish to walk into Leeds city centre to shop and explore, or simply stay near the museum. Leeds offers a wide variety of cafés, restaurants, and bars to enjoy, so there will be plenty of options to suit your preferences.
