Spring Graduate Jobs Fair: Inclusive Event Support - Small Group Introductions

26th February 12:30 to 14:30
Come along to this drop-in session to gain tailored inclusive support on attending big careers events.

As part of the Spring Graduate Jobs Fair, we have partnered with the Peer Guides to offer enhanced inclusive event support.

If you identify as disabled*, neurodivergent, or anxious about attending big careers events, you can drop-in to speak to a designated Peer Guide for quality peer-to-peer advice on what the fair involves, how to talk to stands, and answer any questions you have.

These introductions will be available on a first-come, first-served drop-in basis from 12:30-2:30pm.

To take part, drop by Sandra Burslem G.04 to meet us and be allocated a Peer Guide who will welcome you, provide support and advice, and answer any questions you have, while introducing you to the Fair.

Sandra Burslem G.04 is our event’s designated breakout ‘quiet’ space, which will have sensory-friendly activities and space to relax while you wait to meet a Peer Guide.

Within your 15-minute slot, you will be grouped with up to 3 students seeking similar support. You will then have the opportunity to speak to employers at the fair, either in your group of three (if you choose) or independently. Feel free to come with friends or on your own.

If you are interested in speaking to a Peer Guide during the fair, please book onto this event page, so we can register your interest and monitor numbers.

*Disability includes neurodivergence and long-term mental or physical health conditions. You do not need a diagnosis to take part.
