MSA OPEN: Visit No.3 Circle Square Construction Site. Host: Glenn Ombler & GMI Contractors
MSA Open Office: Colleagues and friends of the Manchester School of Architecture invite BA3 Architecture students to visit their office or one of their on-site projects.
Employability: The visits aim to increase awareness of practice in preparation for a Part 1 year in practice following graduation.
Curate Your Career: The visits will introduce you to different facets of practice life, including the work environments, projects, and practice professionals, which may inform your career journey.
Booking: Space for visits is limited. Only sign up for one event. You will be removed from all visit lists if you sign up for multiple visits. If you cannot attend, cancel within 72 hours’ notice. This will give students on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.
What to Expect:
1. Self-directed travel
2. Meet at MTC 3rd Floor Lobby. (You must be on time!)
3. One-hour guided tour; some visits may have small activities.
5. Some site visits require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
You can borrow PPE from the MTC’s 3rd-floor Store. You must return it immediately after use. If you have your own PPE, e.g. boots, please remember to wear them.
6. You must read the risk assessment before the visit.
Important: When attending MSA Open Office Events, you are an
ambassador for the MSA; professional and considerate behaviour is expected.
