Come and hear from alumni and project manager Lucy Brown about her journey and how you can become a project manager.
This activity is offered as part of Future Me Week - five days of exciting opportunities to develop your skills, deepen understanding, gain experience and take steps towards an exciting Future You.

Project Management is one of the most in demand professions in the country and exists across almost every sector you can imagine! But what is project management and how do you become a project manager?

Come and hear from Lucy Brown, an Education Studies Graduate now working in Strategic Projects here at Manchester Met:

I am a dedicated Project Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I am passionate about supporting our strategic vision for students and delivering impactful projects that underpin this.

With six years of experience in Higher Education, I have worked on several initiatives that connect students with valuable career opportunities, including as the Project Manager for the Future Talent Graduate Scheme, and supporting students via the award-winning Rise programme.

I graduated in 2018 from Manchester Met with a degree in Education Studies and began my career in Higher Education not long after this, starting my journey as an intern and moving around in a non-linear way to achieve what I have today.
